WindyCityParrot.com is an exotic bird owners total source for parrot supplies. Parrots are still fundamentally wild animals requiring unique housing, feeding and accessories. We are the only site on the Internet to not only offer over 200 cage styles but have cross categorized them against 250 species of birds. Species categorization will be rolled out to our other categories in coming weeks. We take the guesswork out of shopping for exotic bird owners.
Catering to avian enthusiasts at over 500 shows in 8 Midwestern states since 1993, Windy City Parrot built a strong grass roots customer base. Show attendance slid after 9/11 and WindyCityParrot.com was born 12/31/2001 to fill the void. A brick and mortar retail presence opened in 2003 and grew into one of the biggest avian category only retailers found anywhere. (We do not sell livestock to insure the health and safety of our products) In June of 2005 fire destroyed the Windy City Parrot Birdie Boutique. WindyCityParrot.com emerged from the ashes 3 months later as a company focused on Internet order fulfillment shipping to all 50 states and more than 20 countries worldwide. Warehouse shopping is also available from it's 8000 s.f. facility 5 minutes west of Downtown Chicago.
